This place is really special. Had an amazing time and Cluj turned out to be my favorite city.... and this turned out to be my favorite hostel during my 2 weeks stay in Romania. Had a lovely BBQ one night and lots of great recommendations from the staff. Highly recommend!

I've stayed in a lot of hostels (really, a LOT) and The Spot is one of the best. The owners are so welcoming and everyone else staying there was really friendly. We had the private room and slept so well - the quiet policy is brilliant. The decor will make you want to wander around all the rooms and Echo the dog will steal your heart. We stayed an extra night in Cluj just to spend more time at The Spot!

We slept for 3 mornings after the mioritmic festival at this place and it was a wonderful experince. The hostel is very good looking, with the recreational areas,one big living room and nice backyard. The people around are very nice and friendly.

I arrived at 1 am, but a staff member was up waiting to me. For the next 2 days staff proved to be really friendly and helpful. There is a big backyard with a couple dogs, and a big living room, so an easy going atmosphere for guests. Breakfast included cereal, bread and spread. There is a small supermarket nearby too, and the downtown is a fifteen minute walk.

Sono stato ospite, insieme alla mia moto, di The Spot per due notti ed è senz'altro uno dei luoghi più confortevoli che mi abbiano mai ospitato.Vi si respira un'aria rilassata ed amichevole.I proprietari sono giovani, disponibili e molto simpatici.Un ottimo posto dove trascorrere del tempo nel cuore della Transilvania.

I had a wonderful experience at this hostel. I loved the beds! They were so so comfortable and the staff was absolutely lovely. Not to forget about all the amazing art covering most of the walls. It's a place that is very alternative, like a hippie hostel. They even grow their own vegetables! Atmosphere was very pleasant and the breakfast really good! Will come back when in Cluj.
