The citadel was renovated so is very nice. Old buildings full of history. You shuold visit it at noon when they change the guards, it is quite impressive. You can drive in the citadel, but there are not many parking space.

A very well preserved citadel, as it should be considering its importance in Romanian history. The relatively small area is in great contrast to the town that surrounds it, one sadly only too full of ugly blocks. At least an hour can spent here,, longer if you linger in the many sites.

In a beautiful day of summer we stopped to Alba Iulia. Me and my girlfriend have left asking one each other: 'Is that possible? Is that real?'. We were very impressed in a positive way. It's amazing, beautiful, impressive and I can continue. If you travel to Romania, please don't miss this Citadel.

I think Citadel of Alba Iulia is the best citadel of Europe.Everything is very clean and well groomed and full of history.

Крепость Алба Юлия место, которое однозначно стоит посмотреть. Очень красиво, ухоженно, видно, что с большой любовью эта крепость существует сегодня. Единственное место в Румынии, где посещение бесплатно и очень, очень красиво, оттуда не хочется уходить.

Много мест для прогулок, прекрасные панорамные виды, все ухожено и чисто. Понравились фонтаны внутри крепости. И удивило обилие странных бронзовых скульптур, иногда смешных и нелепых.
