I really enjoyed this hostel, the location couldn't be better, friendly staff, the breakfast is amazing(yogurt, eggs, salami, bread, cereals, milk, jam), great room. I was supposed to stay just 2 nights, but I extended for more 2 because I really appreciated this place, I have never been in a hostel before with so supportive staff.

The Smart hostel is one of the cheapest in Sibiu. Location is perfect, dorms are very comfortable, hostel is clean and the staff is extrmely friendly. The hostel also has well equipped kitchen and the breakfast perfect. The place definately worth it.

The hostel was great: it's not noisy, great mattresses and showers,staff very friendly, very close to the big place. It offers 1 day trips around sibiu and the staff can give you advice on what to see around the city. We wanted some nature and went to the mountains, in Paltinis.

I only stayed in this hostel for one night, however the staff were extremely welcoming and I ended up making friends with a few of them! The 8 bed form where I stayed was clean, tidy and comfortable with a fan for the hot weather which was needed! A special thank you to David, Jake and Vlad 😊 I would highly recommend, especially as it is in a perfect location for access to central Sibiu.

A hidden gem in the historical centre of Sibiu. The location is very quiet. The hostel is clean, well-managed and run by good employees. The receptionist, Iulia, was kind and a good chit-chatter. So, in the end, be smart, make a smart choice and choose Smart Hostel.

Good location. Very good wifi. The double I slept in was comfy and spacious. The English guy who checked me in was very friendly. Breakfast was good too. It was a good stay, although it seemed a bit strange that I had to strip the bed myself for 120 leus, but maybe I'm too fussy. A sign with the name of the hostel somewhere near the entrance would probably be helpful.

3 minutes from city center, clean rooms, breakfast, very nice lounge area with fireplace and games. The staff was very friendly and helped us to find out what are the main attractions of the city. I would gladly return anytime.

Loved my stay here!The owner Alex was super lovely and helpful. We wanted to explore transgard, and when we had trouble hiring a car he offered to take us up there himself! As for the hostel- Great location, very clean too. Best bunk beds I've ever seen in a hostel, very comfy and each one has a private reading light, power point and side table. Great free breakfast too- proper eggs and all. This is a great place to stay in Sibiu!! Highly recommended

Wir wurden direkt sehr freundlich empfangen und mit Infos über Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in Sibiu versorgt. Das Hostel war generell sauber. Das Bad war nicht zu jeder Zeit sauber, aber das hängt ja auch von den Bewohnern ab. Frühstück war inbegriffen und war vielseitig. Handtücher waren auch zur freien Verfügung. Parken kann man direkt vor dem hostel für 2 lei / Tag!Wir würden das Smart Hostel weiter empfehlen!
