Amazing hostel. Amazing experience. It was clean and modern and the staff and travelers coming through are unlike any other. You cannot be antisocial here! They deserve that title of #1 hostel in Romania, for sure. Also had wonderful volunteers ;) Can't wait to come back here soon.

Umbrella hostel is our favourite place to sleep in Bucharest. Everything is clean, the building and the three beds rooms were very compfortable.Also the showers and common areas. So nice that we repeated at the end of the trip!

The staff is very friendly and help with tips for the holidays. The rooms are clean. There is all you need to wash you clothes, consult Internet (even a computer). And the kitchen is full of all the facilities you need too. Great and very good located in the town.

Is near to the city center, 20 min walking, the staff is amazing, they help you with every doubt that you can have, the atmosphere of the place is really relaxing, the facilities were clean all the time.And you have free coffee.It will be my choice if i vist bucharest again.

Getting to know umbrella hostel by a romanian friend from constanta it became an excellent base for travelling in romania and returning every now and then. Really nice folks, beautiful backyard area (especially in summer you'll love the shade) and an overall good atmosphere. Clean facilities, nice matrasses and a variety of rooms available. Full recommandation!

Stayed here for 3 nights in a private room and really enjoyed our stay. The hostel is clean, tidy and extremely friendly. The staff and the owner all a great bunch of people and a helpful and knowledgeable about the city.

Great hostel, very clean and comfortable in good and safe area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are super comfy and the rooms are nice and warm. Great for long and short trips :) Location is a also a big plus :) Strongly recommend this for long or short trips and will go there again when i'm passing through Bucharest
