What a great place to stay, organised for us by absolute Carpathian. Mimi and her family were brilliant, the food was great after long days in the field and the accommodation warm and welcoming. The workshops in the basement are fascinating and worth a visit. No hesitation to recommend and go back again

My wife and I were staying for a 9 day wildlife watching/trecking trip.We were made to feel very welcome from the offset.Nice sized very comfortable ensuite bedroom with a balcony overlooking the garden and local countryside.Traditional homemade Romanian food for breakfast and dinner.Very tasty and filling.Good local drinks too with an honesty bar,also welcome after a day in the mountains trecking or tracking.Excellent hosts.

Just what you need on a trekking holiday. A guest house offering a warm welcome, comfortable and clean rooms and great food. I really enjoyed breakfast. Sadly I did not get to experience dinner at Pensiunea Mosorel, but other guests told me I missed a real treat; great, home cooked traditional Romanian food.I'll be back

Lovely place , Very kind Owner Mimi made us feel at home. Great garden for resting after a long hike in the mountains. Walking distance from a Very yummie local restaurant. Very delicious breakfast with home made jams. This place is a gem!

Visited Zarnesti as a group of hikers for an Easter break. The pension is an all rounder, from the stunning views and location to the greatest hostess Mimi! Food items included homemade yoghurt, jams and cheeses for breakfast and traditional 3 course dinners. If visiting do ask for the cherry or plum brandy (which are also homemade)!

We had everything we could ask for during our 5-day stay in this charming guesthouse - clean, cosy rooms, breathtaking views, friendly hosts and amazing food. Mimi's cooking is simply wonderful and everything was freshly prepared. I really felt at home here!

Really good pension. Hostess is really nice and helpfull. And she could cook really well! (With all either homemade or local products. Which was really convenient after a day of hiking in the mountains. The room was clean and there was a balcony with mountain view.

Owned and run by Mimi who cooks fantastic food and tries to cater for everyone's preferences. Most of the ingredients come from her own smallholding or the surrounding area, this is home cooking at its best. Packed lunches, breakfast at 5am, dinner at 10pm nothing was too much trouble. Honesty book for wine and beer. Rooms were basic but shower powerful and plenty of hot water. Great location for access to the Carpathians.

La deliziosa Luana,oltre essere la mamma di 3 bimbi, e parlare un ottimo italiano, si occupa con garbo ed efficenza degli ospiti e della cucina ...ed è tutto perfetto!Le camere sono belle, i letti sono comodi, il cibo è buono.L'atmosfera è rilassante; si possono fare tante passeggiate ben segnalate e il panorama sulle catene montuose circostanti è bellissimo.
